God is My Rock and My Fortress...
~A rock symbolizes the strength God gives us to endure. The strength that only God can give to you. Not just in times of despair or pain but also in the good times. Give God all thanks and praise for your many blessings...in good and in bad times~
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
At one point in my life I was going through a hard time. I prayed and always kept my faith in God...A Psalm I'd pray is PSALM 18:2... "God is My Rock and My fortress"
One day while walking I stumbled upon rock. As I examined the rock I realized the strength the rock had and it's beauty in places like the Grand Canyon. I took the rock home.
I thought of my favorite Psalm 18:2... I decided to kneel down and pray holding this symbol of strength in my hands... My ~Prayer Rock~ I called it.
I felt like I was holding Gods hand and feeling the strength he wanted me to have during this hard time. A rock has the strength to endure many things...and I felt God was trying to tell me that I can endure this hardship and it too shall pass.
I wanted to share a part of my story with all of you and let you know why I decided to make these special ~Prayer Rocks~ Although it's just a symbol...I hope you feel the strength that I've found when I use my ~Prayer Rock~
